Fighting for affordable housing and property tax relief for Goffstown families
Joe Alexander isn't just another politician — he's your neighbor, your advocate, and your voice in Concord.
Currently serving his fourth term representing Goffstown, Joe brings a unique perspective to the State House. As a bartender by trade, he understands the challenges working families face every day. He knows what it's like to work hard for every dollar and watch as rising costs make the American Dream feel increasingly out of reach.
That's why Joe has made housing affordability his top priority. As Chairman of the House Housing Committee, he's leading the charge to cut through bureaucratic red tape and remove the barriers that prevent hardworking Granite Staters from finding homes they can afford. His passion is simple but powerful: everyone deserves a place to call home.
Joe also serves on the Goffstown Budget Committee, where he fights to ensure your tax dollars are spent wisely and efficiently. He believes government should live within its means — just like the families it serves.
Government should work for the people. Although a lot of the property tax decisions are made on the local level I will continue to fight to make sure that we are raining in out of control spending and living within our means.
Everyone should have the ability to own a home. The price of housing in New Hampshire is out of control, partly due to overburden some government regulations on the local and state level. I will continue to fight to reduce those barriers to constructing new homes.
Everyone needs to show ID to vote. I will continue to ensure that our elections remain secure and transparent for all involved.
Families are the foundation of our state. I will continue to fight to make sure that parents voices are heard and education and that they are supported on the local state level.
Everyone deserves to choose where they have an education that's best for them. Families are at the center of this choice. School choice is an integral part of the education system in New Hampshire and I'll continue to work to make sure every family has options.
Joe Alexander believes in the principles that have made New Hampshire great: limited government, personal freedom, fiscal responsibility, and local control. These aren't just campaign slogans — they're the values that guide every vote he casts in Concord.
Joe believes the best ideas come from the people he serves. Whether at town halls, community events, or just around town, he's always ready to listen to your concerns and fight for your priorities in Concord.
As Housing Committee Chairman, Joe doesn't just talk about problems — he works to solve them. His leadership has been instrumental in advancing common-sense reforms that make housing more affordable for working families.
Together, we can keep fighting for affordable housing, lower taxes, and a government that works for you.
